1. MECHANISM OF ACTION
Simethicone reduces surface tension of gas bubbles causing them to collapse.
2. INDICATIONS
- Accumulation of gas in the gastrointestinal tract, sensation of pressure and fullness in the epigastrium.
- Prevent spit up milk in baby.
- Reduce vomiting in pregnancy.
3. ADVANTAGE
Simethicone is not absorbed into bloodstream thus does not cause any all over side-effect.
Can be taken several times per day (12 tablets).
Peppermint flavor/ orange flavor like candy is convenient for chewing or holding in mouth after meals.

Against flatulence and meteorism.
Digestive disorders tend to be linked with the excessive accumulation of gas in the stomach and intestine. The most common symtoms developing through these are a sensation of pressure, tension and fullness in the epigastrium, eructation, flatus.
AIR-X offers a way of treating such abnormal accumulation of gas in the gastrointestinal tract. Simethicone reduces surface tension of gas bubbes, covered with mucus in the gastrointestinal tract causing them to collapse; helps in the expulsion of gas and relieves meteorism. The nontoxic of simethicone, its chemical inerteness and good tolerance make it useful for the prevention and therapy of discomfort due to gas accumulation and gastrointestinal distension. Simethicone has also been shown to accelerate the transit time of gas.
COMPOSITION
Each tablets contains:

EXCIPIENTS: Silicon dioxide, Calcium Stearate, Anhydrous Glucose, Caraway oil, Fennel oil, Peppermint oil, Povidone, Sucrose.
APPEARANCE
White, biconvex tablets with aromatic odor.
INDICATIONS
Accumulation of gas in the gastrointestinal tract, sensation of pressure and fullness in the epigastrium, temporary meteorism usually after consumption of heavy meals or high carbohydrate foods, postoperative meteorism, gastrocardiac syndrome, in preparation for X-ray examination (stomach, intestine, gall bladder, kidney) and before gastroscopy.
DOSAGE
The usual adult dosage is 1-2 tablets to be thoroughly chewed after meals; in preparation for X-rays give for 2 or 3 days before examination. The dosage is adjusted according to the age and symptoms of patients.
CAUTIONS
Do not exceed 12 tablets per day except under the prescription and supervision of physician.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of this drug.
SIDE EFFECT
AIR-X brings noticeable relief of symtoms and removes the gas causing flatulence. The most important active constituent of AIR-X, dimethypolysiloxane, is not absorbed from the stomach and intestine, so it usually has no harmful effect whatever on the organism. Any how, immediately inform your physician of the unwanted side effects, if any.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
No interactions of Air-X with other drugs have been reported.
